Welcome to the Get Involved NPCA online engagement portal! We are thrilled to invite you to this space where you will learn more about our partnership with local public libraries and how you can get your hands on an NPCA NaturePlus Pass.

About the program:

NPCA remains committed to ensuring equitable access to greenspace for peoples and communities across the watershed. We are partnered with local municipal libraries to provide access to conservation areas by loaning out NaturePlus passes. Currently, fees apply at various conservation areas and this great pass allows participants to visit natural hidden gems at no cost.

Passes can be rented for one week and are available on a first-come, first-served basis at local library branches and facilities, often accompanied by nature backpacks complete with binoculars and guidebooks.

The Library NaturePlus Pass is valid at:

To enter the conservation area, swipe the card at the automated gate to enter or exit, or present to the gatekeeper.

Since 2021, the NaturePlus Passes have been borrowed hundreds of times and we are honoured that visitors have chosen to step into nature with us, at an NPCA conservation area!

The NPCA NaturePlus Pass does not grant admission to Hamilton Conservation Authority parks.
