Welcome to the NPCA's Get Involved portal!
The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority has partnered with local community groups, environmental agencies, and government organizations that share a common interest in helping Canada reach its goal of planting 2 Billion Trees for a better tomorrow. Together we have formed the Niagara Peninsula Tree Planting Partnership, striving to bring as many trees to the Niagara Peninsula watershed as possible.
In early 2023, we launched the 'Trees For All' campaign, seeking private landowner to express their interest in tree plantings opportunities on their property to include as part of a planting grant application and to help shape the Trees For All program. More than 800 landowners in Niagara, Haldimand, and Hamilton registered... THANK YOU.
Using this planting opportunity inventory, we submitted funding applications to both the Federal 2 Billion Trees Small Scale Rural and Urban/Suburban tree planting streams in June 2023, with aspirations to plant 1 million trees across the Niagara Watershed by 2031.
And now we wait for some good news!
Please refer to the 'Newsfeed' below to read the May 2024 update.
Express your interest by registering your property, contact information, and ideas. This only means we will get in touch to learn more about you and your property soon! (confidential, no obligation!)This phase has now concluded. A second call for applications may come late 2024.
Share an idea for consideration, or a story you think is of interest to partners, the community, and other landowners.
Ask us a question and we will get back to you with more information.
Share information on the Trees For All initiative with your own network and encourage other landowners to register their interest.

YourTV Niagara segment on NPCA Restoration Initiatives & Trees For All
The NPCA is taking action to restore and improve water quality, wildlife habitat and forest cover across the NPCA watershed.
In 2019, the NPCA has launched a revitalized restoration program and we have since been working with private landowners on various projects. This video showcases a great example of this work.
