Welcome to the NPCA's Get Involved portal!

The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority has partnered with local community groups, environmental agencies, and government organizations that share a common interest in helping Canada reach its goal of planting 2 Billion Trees for a better tomorrow. Together we have formed the Niagara Peninsula Tree Planting Partnership, striving to bring as many trees to the Niagara Peninsula watershed as possible, and we need your help!

Our goal today is simple. We are seeking private landowner to express their interest in tree plantings opportunities on their property to include as part of a future planting grant application and to help shape the Trees For All program. If you have land in Niagara, Haldimand, or Hamilton, we're looking for you.

The trees we plant together will capture and store carbon from the atmosphere, improve air and water quality, help to restore natural habitats and biodiversity, cool our urban centres and create and support green jobs. The benefits span generations!

ABOUT THIS PAGE:

This portal is home to important documents for landowners and interested participants, a project timeline on this exciting initiative, a mapping tool to record your interest and pin your location, and several online engagement tools to provide feedback and share stories and ideas.

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED:

  • Express your interest by registering your property, contact information, and ideas. This only means we will get in touch to learn more about you and your property soon! (confidential, no obligation!)
  • Share an idea for consideration, or a story you think is of interest to partners, the community, and other landowners.
  • Ask us a question and we will get back to you with more information.
  • Share information on the Trees For All initiative with your own network and encourage other landowners to register their interest.
  • Learn more about this initiative by reading supporting documents and information found on this page.
  • Donating directly to the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Foundation
