Trees for All Update and Thank You!
Its already been two weeks since the official launch of the Trees for All campaign for landowners to express interest in planting trees on their property and the Trees for All Team wanted share that the response to date has been tremendous. Thank you!
The Trees for All Team and associated partnership behind it is very grateful for your support towards its desire to establish a high-volume, multi-year tree planting program that that brings investment for lots of trees to come to the Niagara Watershed. To date we have a total of 115+ landowner registrants with a potential 210 to 230 acres for planting consideration already...and that estimate is growing rapidly daily!
On the public land side, 135+ potential plantings sites have been identified for further consideration at the halfway mark through the available inventories supplied.
Keep in mind, if you do not have property, you can still do your part and participate in Trees for All by considering a donation directly to the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Foundation.
Please help us keep the momentum of the property registration campaign going, and the expressions of interest/property registrations coming in! Tell a friend and neighbor, or participate in redistributing any of the Trees For All social media posts from the NPCA or partnering local municipality feeds. We will be accepting registrations for consideration at least until mid-March and hope to begin contacting those who have already responded as soon as we can in the coming days.
Thanks again for all the interest expressed thus far and stay tuned for future progress updates!
Sincerely,
Trees for All Team
